Hello from an Indiana Newbie!

I just found you guys and am I ever glad! I have my first chickens and have a LOT to learn so I'm trying to soak it up like a sponge. Once I get one question answered, something else comes up. After looking through your posts this looks like a bunch of friendly, helpful folks. I have to say, this poultry thing is addicting! I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of new friends! Your right poultry is addicting. I'm working on my second set of birds. Unfortunatly the neighbor's stray decided it wanted my first flock. I floated in here looking for answeres and have been here ever since. You're going to love it here. Hang around and let us know how things go. Welcome to your new home away from home.

Welcome Candace! I am in Central KY, so we might be close... I am new to chickens too and they are very addicting! As of right now I have 13 chickens and a duck. I have 25 more coming and a "free chick" I won't be able to answer many if any of your questions, but I sure do like to talk! Take care and welcome!
