Hi dragonlaw. Yes there are dragons in my house! Lots of them, as well as faeries, unicorns, wizards... I have collected them for many years now. It would figure for you to notice them! Thanks for the compliment on my chickies! The "Top Hat" varieties are the sweetest, friendliest little guys!

    Gwen,

You're a good one for making people laugh! Ever since you posted that picture of some Russian peasant woman winding up for a kiss, I've been tempted to imagine you looking like that when you go out to visit the horses.

Of course, I'm sure you are actually Hollywood gorgeous, rubber boots and all, but it's still fun to picture you the other way!

You're a real asset to the Forum, by the way, and you deserve all the credits you've got, even if it's hard to know what to do with them!

    Gwen,

Thank you very much for the credits! It's great to have that kind of encouragement.

To be honest, I've never figured out that credit thing. I assume my credit numbers are low because I spend most of my time actually trying to answer questions on the main forum, where the credit count is pretty low.

That's fine. The appeal for me is the chance to help people out and get a little help myself.

One day I'll even figure out how to use the credits you sent me.

Once again, thanks for the gift!

I've got several years of experience in the chickens, but it's also been several years since I've actually had any and put the knowledge into practice.I'm sure once I get some birds on the yard it won't take long to get back into the swing of things.Glad the illustrations were of use to you,now you can easily identify combs without any guess work!
