In the course of updating our old forums to a more secure version, our data crashed. Yes, that's right. It crashed. There went the "more secure" idea.

You have no idea how fustrating this is! All of our members, messages, photos, etc are gone. I spent a collective 19 hours trying to recode, decode, and restore the message boards....all to no avail.

If you have previously been a member, please register again. I was unable to save anything and had to rebuild the entire thing from the beginning.

You all are a great group and its always fun "talking" to all of you. I look forward to this community getting started again, and of course more great chicken information....and James' jokes.

In case you haven't explored this new forum site yet, there's a neat little link at the top of this page called "News". I've written a few short things just to demonstrate how it works.

Go ahead and test it out. Click on "Submit News" and tell us about your cat or your anacondas ( ) or your new coop (I'm really bummed that all those great messages from the old forum are gone).

Grrrrr, I'm so mad about losing the old forum. *sigh* Oh well, there isn't anything I can do about it.....

Oh and another thing, how is the loading speed for this forum for all of you who are using dial-up internet?

That's a bummer Josh, but I'm sure everybody will be back and the forum will be great as ever soon. Thanks for your hard work keeping this thing up and running. I love comeing here and reading everybody's posts even if I don't always post. I do lurk often.
