Chicken Hatcheries in the United States and Canada:

Find a supplier for your poultry hobby!

Looking for chicks? Find a hatchery in your state or province!

Chickens in chicken hatcheries are typically artificially inseminated. The chickens then lay fertile eggs which are thoroughly cleaned and inspected before incubation. The mechanical incubators, capable of incubating large amounts of fertile eggs at a time, automatically control the eggs' temperature and humidity and also turn the fertile chicken eggs until they hatch at 21 days of incubation. After the fertile chicken eggs hatch, the chicks are raised to several days of age before they are processed for shipment to consumers and farms.
