poultryOne.com, while being a large and well-respected member of the online poultry community, started out as a small website called "Farmlinks". Farmlinks was originally an online home for our little rural newspaper, The Poultry Gazette (which would later become a global ezine). However, as more poultry enthusiasts got used to utilizing the Internet as a resource for maximizing their success in the hobby, Farmlinks expanded into a full-fledged portal. Starting in 2000, we became known as the Farmlinks Poultry Resource Network and began offering articles, links, tips, and other top-rated guides to raising chickens.

In 2004, we undertook a major re-branding and re-structuring. After several months of hard work, poultryOne.com debuted as the new home for all the resources that made the Farmlinks Poultry Resource Network such an overwhelming success.

Since then, we have built on the foundation that Farmlinks layed, and are currently researching ways to spread our reach into the offline world. In April of 2005, poultryOne.com debuted the poultryOne Media Group, whose purpose will be to continue to educate the global poultry community, and increase the brand awareness of poultryOne.com.
